The PASTA made photo frames that stole my heart.

Sicilly was one of our favorite stops on this trip.  The tour guide told us that the town of Cefalu, an ancient fisherman's town in Sicilly, is a MUST to visit on our own.  So off to Cefalu we did.  This is a typical Sicilian fishing village where local people stroll the cobble-stoned streets with their families daily to buy their vegetables off of a truck and take leisure walks to the beach on summer days.  All the little shops here are "one of a kind" and I could have easily spent a couple of days here visiting them individually.
We found one that we loved in particular and Claire got me two beautiful frames from this shop as my birthday presents.  I love them.  This little shop's owner (a little old Sicilian woman) makes all the embellishments herself out of pasta.  Yes, PASTA!  Amazing, huh?  Yummy Italian pasta can be made into frame embellishments with a little food coloring.  The store can't be more than 300 square feet.  You just can't help but fall in love with it.
